Well I've Bought Another Vauxhall. . . . Uh Oh

Well, I've not really had the notion to put the 8v turbo engine into the 205 yet. So I bought myself a toy for the summer.

 

It's a j reg nova saloon, with a c20let (2.0 16v turbo) engine from a Calibra. Toyo R888's all round, fk coilovers evo 4 seats ect.

 

It was running 220bhp with a print out. But it wasn't fast enough. I put phase 3 software in it, a set of injectors and turned the boost up to 19psi. It's a bit on an animal now

 

 

 

 

Took it to the local 1/4 mile on a vauxhall day on the 15th of this month. Was seriously impressed by it. Turned out the be the fastest car there that day. 12.9 s at 119mph. Pretty good sleeper as well.

Can't really fault that performance as getting into the 12's is none too shabby.

 

Shame that the intercooler isn't a bit more discreet - it would be amusing with that hidden and a set of ratty mis-matched hubcaps

Needs a few OAP orientated sleeper stickers and a tin of boiled sweets on the dash. Perhaps some beaded seat covers

Nice one mate, bit of a sleeper! That terminal of 119mph is pretty good, it must have been coming on strong at the line. Get another 10 psi up it and see what happens ;-)
