Car Covers. What Cover For Storing A 205 Outside?

Recommended Posts

christopher

I need to store my 205 outside in the open for at least for a couple of years. With rust and leaking Windows I need to cover it up. It is in need of renovation, but I want to reduce the rust.

Last night I covered it with a cheap cover that I had. Today I can see that it is wet underneath after some rain. So I guess it is only splashproof.

So I Googled a bit and found lots of companies selling covers tailered for a 205 from around 50 quid to 150 odd.

So what is the experience with outside covers? Any recommendations?

I have a Hamiliton Classic 4 layer one. It has kept mine dry through 2 winters now, through snow and allsorts. Looks pretty grubby now, but should be more than sufficient for the job. Mind, they are over £100
