Turbo Wiring Q (Tacho Adapter)

ok, s have sold quite a few of these and all working, and normally wire up using the 2 thick outer wires on the ignition amp

 

i now have someone who dont seem to have this setup and wondering if someone knows the setup

 

here are two pic's

 

any know how a tacho converter can be wired up?

would be the same as any other wasted spark setup, pickup from both coil triggers, doesnt need to be by the coil or amp, by the ecu will work fine

do you know which pin numbers or wire numbers near the ecu they need?

same as any other xu10J2TE, don't know of any differences in the Turbo engines, thought they were all the same, not that it matters, just find the two trigger wires.

i'm not in the same country as the car so cant find them and the person's who car it is, isn't 100% electrically minded.

 

if someone knows which two wired and where they can be picked up from, i can pass the info on :)

a non electrical person cant though,

 

they just want to be told wire 1 and wire 3

 

so i need someone to tell me that ;)

A quick Google suggests the following pinout for an MTR04 ignition amp, which looks to tally up with the image above

 

Pin 1 - Coil A

Pin 2 - Trigger A

Pin 4 - Earth

Pin 6 - Coil B

Pin 7 - Trigger B

 

Note that I have not personally tested/verified this. I don't have Autodata at work, but can double-check on there at home later.
