What Fluid For Cj Power Assisted Roof

Does anyone know what hydrolic fluid I need for the power assisted hood on my 1993 CJ. And if so where can I get it.

Any power steering fluid I was told for mine....worked fine !!

I bought some hydraulic fluid for a 306 Cabriolet for mine from Peugeot about 7 years ago. There were no distinct markings on the bottle, but it does look like PAS fluid

bit of an old topic but you need type 32 hydraulic oil, same stuff thats is used in trolly jacks etc
