erbs 42 1 Cars Posted March 19, 2012 (edited) upon looking at standard replacement exhaust, mine is the 2 piece with olive fitting at the back, my car is a 91 plate but according to ECP it comes in three sections is this correct? http://www.eurocarpa...m/exhaust-parts also what is the best branded standard exhaust that people prefer to use? I'll say what I've said before though - don't believe anything that GSF or ECP's websites claim for your reg, as put simply, more often than not it's wrong. If you have a two piece system currently - which you should have on a '91 1.6 GTi - then replace with a 2-piece. welshpug 1,622 Posted March 19, 2012 (edited) part number 704735021 that's the downpipe/centre section, and this part number 705735111 looks like it would be the olive fit later rear silencer, given that there's a separate listing for the sleeve fit rear box here under the same brand part number 705735031 theyre timax branded, used to be arvin-timax, reasonable quality though I dont know if it will have the correct spec downpipe.
