Rad Lowering..again

how many mm can the rad be dropped/tilted/whatever before having to cut out the lower section and having it kissing the floor hello every bump it comes across?

 

I need 150mm and i'm guessing that it's quite a tall order..

Hmmm..maybe. Is that tilted aswell Tom? The other pics Jrod posted up makes it look like the top is tilting forward?

 

And do you happen to know the height of a gti rad in mm? I've got the TD one in mine so it's a bit of a beast. It's definatley wider and thicker than the one in the picture.

gti rad core -

TD rad core -

end tanks are similar, TD lower outlet is angled backwards afaik.

Thanks meirion. I'll get my tape measure out and see what's going on..

 

I assume my TD rad will stand 38mm taller than a gti rad , before & after lowering..
