Diagnostic Pin, Which One?

Right got my self on of those old code readers, the one that has one pin and then goes to the battery, only problem is i dont no which plug the pin goes to

Looking at this wiring diagram i belive it to be ECU pin 13 or 55, but would prefer to actually no, rather than guess,

 

any help please?

wire 4260 - diagnostic ping 43 - maybe mil lamp?

 

wire 140 - diagnostic pin 55

 

wire 141 - diagnostic pin 13

 

this is what i have on mine^

 

for some reason mine is a 2 ping plug using 140 and 141, iv had it plugged in using the snapon diagnostics and it wouldnt bring anything up for it, iv heard people on here to have 3 pin plugs, maybe 4260 is the eml im not sure.

Pin 43 as that goes to the K light on the dash as well imo.

 

My autodata says pins 13 & 55 are connected pin - no test data available or random digital signal.

does pin 43 go to the multi plug?

On the three pin diag plug yes but on the two pin plug, it's pin 13 that splits off to the dash as shown in the diagram posted in Stu's first post.

so you haft to run a seperate wire from pin 43 to the dash to get the k light on?

No, it should be built into the loom already afaik.
