Yes. Anything's possible with deep enough pockets. But why? Would be a more fitting question!

They're only about 168bhp anyway.

DO NOT buy that car with the intention of breaking it, please! :(

According to howmanyleft.com there's only 1 of those left on the road, breaking that car should be punishable by death!

they were known to produce more than their quoted figures, but there's plenty of motors that'd be a wiser choice before that one.

be sacriladge to break a CX turbo anyway!

My dad has a pretty good story involving a Jaguar XJ prototype, a CX GTI Turbo 2 and an Autobahn. :D

I don't think anyone is going to buy that for £3k and then break it.

I used to have a CX turbo and I never had it on a rolling road but it was only about as fast as a 1.9 8v 205, if that. As they use pushrods they don't rev at all really, the power delivery is like a modern turbo diesel.

Those 2.5 turbo engines are a straight fit into a Citroen DS :D

Why do I like strange looking cars? I really like that. Such an oddball car.

You can fit the Maserati V6 from the SM into the DS. Fitting the CX turbo engine to one would be like fitting the modern characterless 2.0 8v turbo into a 205 when you could have an Mi16. But even worse ;)

Am I allowed to do that to a mod!?

The GTI6 is not a contemporary engine for the 205 GTI so you're wrong :P

To continue my analogy but in reverse that would be like fitting the CX 2500 GTI NA engine to a DS. It'll go faster and it'll be more reliable but it wont have any resale value apart from being broken for its constituent parts.

BTW I should have stated that I was referring specifically to 205 GTIs in my last post. Putting a GTI6 into a UK Rallye is fine with me!:ph34r:
