306 Hdi Crank Any Good For An Xu?

I found the reason behind the 306 dying wasn't head gasket like I thought it was, turned out to be cracked pistons, so I'm stripping the good bits off the engine (HP pump, injectors etc) and will be scrapping the rest,if the crank is any kind of upgrade for an xu engine I'll take it out as well.

 

I think it's 88mm stroke, but don't know if the big ends/mains are compatible with the xu engine?

It has all the same dimensions, but its not as well balanced as the XU10 one.

So in an xu10 with standard bore size it would make a 2045cc engine, but would benefit from being balanced.

 

I'll see if I can find space for it, but when I need space it will be one of the first things to go! I don't have a garage yet and all my other car parts are stopping me getting on with sorting the house out so I can move in!
