1.9Gti Speedo Cable

My speedo cable has recently snapped in my 1.9GTi and was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the cable so's I can get another one?

I've searched around and can only seem to find cables for 1.1 and 1.4's and I'm not sure if they are compatible with the GTi.

 

Any info regarding cable length, part numbers or where to get them would be much appreciated!

 

The car's a 1987 on a D-plate, if that makes any difference?

all the same, you need the longest one listed, most will have two on the book but will only ever have one in stock as the shorter is for lhd cars

You can still get them from main dealers...same happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Cost just short of £30.
