Warm Up Table Omex

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Just a quick question...

I had my car (205 mi16/weber TBs/omex 500) mapped. But the warmup table hasn't been altered and is still like the base map. Are these correct values, i think my exhaust smells a lot of fuel on a cold start?

% 104 97 87 76 53 48 41 33 21 9 2 0 0 0

Coolant (celcius) -17 -8 1 10 19 28 37 46 55 64 73 82 91 100

Cheers, Johnny

Check coolant temp before startup, then shave some % off the corresponding value until car starts hardly, then back off a bit.

for example if engine temp is 19deg lower the "53%" value to 40% or 30% and see if still starts and idles.

Repeat process at different starting temperatures from winter-cold temp until engine-already-a-bit-warm temp. You can then smooth out the curve a little if the Omex has a 2d graph rendering. It will save a on fuel bills...

Nico
