1905 Mi16 Cam Specs

Recommended Posts

Hi all I have a set of Cams for my MI16

I got them from Italy years ago but have never fitted them.

Looking at the cam specs they have me a bit puzzled Ive tried to compare them to other makers of cams but the specs seem way different.

Im not sure because they have been translated from Italian or if im just missing something

heres what it says on the paper work

Peugeot D6C 1905cc

Hydraulic tappets

Lobe centre angle 110deg

Intake 103.280 lift 10.3mm

Phase 30/70 height TDC 1.9mm

Exhaust 097.268 lift 9.7mm

Phase 64/24 height TDC 1.0mm

Can any one shed any light on what they compare to?

Cheers

Looks perfect to me. ie

INTAKE (std. cam in brackets)

Maximum Lift - 10.3mm (9.2)

Lobe Centre = 110 deg. (114)

Lift @ TDC - 1.9mm (0.84)

Intake Opens - 30 BTDC

Intake Closes - 70 ABDC

Duration - 280 deg.

EXHAUST

Maximum Lift - 9.7mm (9.2)

Lobe Centre = 110 deg. (114)

Lift @ TDC - 9.7mm (0.84)

Exhaust Opens - 64 BBDC

Exhaust Closes - 24 ATDC

Duration - 268 deg.

The valve timing (and duration) is very rubbery as it doesn't specify at what valve lift they were measured. It's a well matched pair however and should be good,

I take it tho Exhaust lift @tdc should read 1.0mm.lol
