Hi

My 205 8v is way overfueling..so i suspected it could be a labmda issue... just for a test i tired to disconect it, and the check light didn't come on (the light is working) ...the engine ran the same as it had with the lambda conected ...so i'm a bit confused... anyone have an idea?

ECU coolant temp sensor will be the culprit as it was on mine.

These are about £30 in the UK I think - the car thinks the coolant is cold so the ECU keeps the mixture rich whatever the actual water temperature. Too much rich mixture will damage your cat too, hence the lambda warning light.

Best of luck!
