1.1 16 Valve?

I currently have a k-reg 1.1 205 in my unit, i feel something must be done to it!!

 

I know its a random question but does anyone know if any 16v peugeot or citreon heads will fit?? And any other suggestions for more poke?

the only one I can imagine that would have a chance of fitting would be the Tu5J4 or the later JP4 head, but you'd need to check the cylinder bore sizes firstly, most likely require custom pistons or at least some work to the original ones if they give a high enough compression and have enough meat to allow for valve cutouts.

 

one must ask thouhg, WHY?

 

I do remember a similar engine being built up for grastrack racing on here and made around 130 bhp IIRC with an 8v head.

its more a case of WHY not?

 

What 8 valve heads would fit? And what other options have i got for gaining more power?
