What Are The Xantia Ct Turbo Gear Ratios?

Also trying to find the final drive regarding this car. I have Googled and get conflicting info. Anybody have them handy ?

Hmm, interesting as the CWP on the 406 Turbo engine was the same as the V6 one, cannot recall what is was now thou

Thats exactly the figures i have Peter.....but there are some completely different ones on the Google machine. That gives me something to work on now and i really appreciate your info.

Which would you change in this box for the 2.0 8v application? Also the final drive choice would make a vast difference here....so can you suggest the best FD which can be sourced in OZ [unfortunately we dont have the 205 diesel fd's here :{

This is the M series box so a 205 CWP won't fit or anything else from the B range

BE3 Mi 16 box with a 1.9 final drive. You get the standard 1.9 gearing on 1,2 and 3 and a longer 4 and 5. I run this on my 1.9 Turbo and am at 70mph at 3200 rpm which is just below the boost coming in when in 5th, so cruises well.

Just one thing..... i thought the BE3 box from the Mi16 was the same ratios as the BE3 box in the 205 ??? yes/no?

Maybe the same final drive too....4.43 ???

Well in my docs the TCT final drive is 4.214

 

On my TCT I use the Mi16 gears with 1.9GTi final drive too.
