Will Mi16 Brakes Fit A 205?

Like the title says will the brakes off a 405Mi16 fit a 205 gti?

i think it has been done, you may need 1.9 hubs as the 405 mi16 shares these with the 1.9 gti

whats the difference between the 1.9gti calipers and the mi16? are the pistons that much bigger?

I saw a 205 MI16 with the 405 mi16 front brakes, dont know if he just used the disks or what else, didnt really look TBH

This Finnish bloke adapted MI16 calipers to fit on his 205, dunno about the discs he used though...

Discs are 1.9 GTI discs - mi16 discs cannot be used because the offset is different.

IMHO DON'T bother and get 306 266mm discs and calipers.
