Wondering if there are any differences other than the release bearing between the be1 and be3 clutches ? Eg imput shaft spline count ?

 

And are there any differences between the 1.9 and 1.6 clutches ?

Nope, the pressure and friction plates are interchangable between BE1 and BE3 (on 205/309's) - it's just the release bearing that differs.

 

1.6 and 1.9 8v clutches are the same for a given year.
