Slavesta 2 Posted October 23, 2010 What front and rear bumpers can be fitted on pug 205? I mean bumper from some other pugs or citros can be fitted on pug 205? May be some have fotos?
Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted October 23, 2010 I have seen a few with Saxo bumpers and 106 GTI arches over the years. Shortened 309 GTI or even 405 is an option Anything will fit, but nothing fits straight on without some modification.
damien 22 1 Cars Posted October 23, 2010 i had a ph1 306 bumper and a 206 bumper on one. the 206 one looked poo.
timmsy19 3 Posted October 23, 2010 The shortened 309 front bumper looks best imo. This is my favourite
jeremy 68 Posted October 23, 2010 The shortened 309 front bumper looks best imo. This is my favourite I do like them, however I think they look better when done on a dark coloured car.
Daviewonder 533 3 Cars Posted October 23, 2010 (edited) Someone on here was doing a project thread and the 205 they were doing came with a 306 front bumper on it, looked pretty good but I can't remember what thread it was. Goes of to search.. Here it is, had it saved on the laptop- Edited October 23, 2010 by Daviewonder
Rob Thomson 6 Posted October 23, 2010 Call me a miserable old bastard if you like, but none of those look remotely as nice as the standard bumper.

Slavesta 2 Posted October 24, 2010 I think the 106 xsi bumper is cool, but it hard to find him. May be 306 bumper is the best choise?

Ray-Vonn 0 Posted November 28, 2010 The shortened 309 front bumper looks best imo. This is my favourite Really love the look of that. Can anyone recommend me somewhere/someone who could do this for me?? (fitted and painted)
eddie bullit 37 Posted November 28, 2010 hum that looks like a S1 106 xsi bumper. they the same style as 306 bumpers? series 1.5 I reckon early one didnt have the black plastic in at the bottom in the centre..
Batfink 201 Posted November 28, 2010 Zender for me! personally I believe this is the only other good looking valence other than standard.
205007 12 Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) that bumper only looks good because of the rest of the car IMO On a standard car it would not be as good as std valance Edited November 28, 2010 by 205007

Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted November 28, 2010 that bumper only looks good because of the rest of the car IMOOn a standard car it would not be as good as std valance +1 It has been modified too. Both Zenders are side by side in this post http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?a...hlite=%2Bzender I'm biased as I have it but much prefer the Gutmann Racing Look 2 kit to the slightly dated Zender
SurGie 54 Posted November 28, 2010 The Zender ones are not available anymore are they ? Sorry but his car looks like any other 205 that's in good nick apart from the rear valance, SL434's & wind mirrors looking at it from the outside. That's not a post link Henry. 205007 12 Posted November 29, 2010 The wheels make all the difference plus its about 60mm lower, wide track, auto bonnet......subtle differences make all the difference The way it sits on the road is what makes it visually much nicer than a std car and so the valance suits it well
SurGie 54 Posted November 29, 2010 Yeah i see what you mean, its a pity his car didnt have the rear Zender as well imo, im not keen on the one it has. But i suppose they are hard to come by.
Baz 421 Posted November 29, 2010 Yeah i see what you mean, its a pity his car didnt have the rear Zender as well imo, im not keen on the one it has. But i suppose they are hard to come by. I had one, it was horrible and IMO didn't really go with the front. So you don't like standard rear valances then George?;
SurGie 54 Posted November 29, 2010 (edited) Yes i do but that's not a full original standard one though is it. That's not the look i would go for with a bent exhaust at the back and no fog lights but it is a track car so i can see why it dont have those. The original 205 gti front valance is larger than the back one just like the Zender ones, so imo they would look good together with this in mind. Im one with keeping with the same theme if you know what i mean. Edited November 29, 2010 by SurGie
MerlinGTI 3 Posted December 12, 2010 St Tropez. Bit chavvy for some. The standard valance isnt for me though. Zender is nice.
