Lumpy Acceleration And Deceleration

Recommended Posts

johnhenry

Hey all

ever since ive replaced the advance vacuum, its become unpredictably lumpy and jerky on deceleration and acceleration sometimes its fine, i generally find it misbehaves coming down from 3rd to 2nd whilst braking down.

Ive adjusted the screw on the throttle housing to lower the idle as it was abit high (im not sure this was a wise idea but it know idles at about 800rpm so its good in that respect but it seems to have caused a few issues with this.

is this just going to be a case of reading the article on the AFM and ICV and then just working through them adjusting accordingly or something more serious?

i know i keep asking this but. help please? im abit stumped?

Cheers John
