Clutch kit and cable set up, the rest should be as it was irc.

If you want to retain the '6 Clutch then I guess it would be the opposite of fitting a Xsara box, so you'd fit the 306 clutch arm & bits.

You did mean 205 GTi6?

we could, but mate has bought a rebuilt box and contains a diff

we hoping "6" box is a later one, else we need drive shaft

if it has a "diff" then you wont have driveshaft issues afaik

be3 will work with a gti6 clutch, gti6 is a BE3....

if the work to make the gti6 box work in a 205 has been done, just transfer the clutch arm to the new box, saves buying a new MI16 clutch

sweet, so just need the clutch arm

and so no need to change gear stick,

but just the gear selector arm? or is that fine too?

this all sounds to easy..lol

the arm on the box will need to be a 205 one, just change it for the one off the box in the car, same as the clutch arm unless yuo want to keep that on there for selling it on.

in that case a TD arm will do as they are pull type too.

all 205 gearsticks are the same, what is on the top or around the shaft differs yes, but the stick is the same.

But why a 1.9 box, LOL.

But as said just swap everything from the old box to the neew one, Job done.

Thou is the N.S shaft is the 306 one or like a few do chop it down then I would get a new one to ensure the splines lock in

your right, what a stupid idea :)

may i bring your attention to the following thread

http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.ph...0&page=last

so the splines are the same, just longer on the 306? he's quite prepared to purchase new shaft

Splines are shorter on the 06's, thats why some companies (Up North) cut them down which when you come to change the shaft makes it a complete pigs ear to do.
