MrG 3 Posted July 18, 2010 or carole nash, they do a good cover.
SurGie 54 Posted July 18, 2010 (edited) Need2insure do a good cheap cover which inc guaranteed valuation, i have been using them for the past 4 years or so, they also insure almost any modifications you may have. They are a family run business. All classic insurance do not inc no claims bonus, thats what makes them so cheap as well as the fact that you need to have a daily driver car insured by another insurer. Lankylad78 0 Posted July 19, 2010 Try Peter Best. They provided classic cover for me, with an agreed value and breakdown cover. I use mine as my daily, and for commuting to and from work with a restricted millage of 5000. I struggled with classic cover due to the fact that I don't own another car, only a named driver on the wifes. I am most probably paying slightly more than most of the guys on here, but it's still £200 cheaper than a standard policy.
Joe-Tait 0 Posted July 19, 2010 Im with Adrian Flux limited miles, guaranteed valuation Very cheap considering my no claims are on a different policy
pugpete1108 62 1 Cars Posted July 19, 2010 try these: heritage mine is 175 fully comp with all mods declared (gti6, stripped, ecu etc.) limited to 1500 miles but she said i can increase that? with a £2000 agreeed value cover. donwside is you have to pay all up at once as if you add installment it doubles the price. mikeygulley 19 1 Cars Posted July 22, 2010 Im with Adrian Flux limited miles, guaranteed valuation Very cheap I am also with Adrian Flux and find them very helpful and cheap.
RossD 43 Posted July 23, 2010 Some of these prices make my Flux policy look very expensive! I'm paying £420 or so for my Flux policy (3000 miles a year, all mods declared etc) but they wouldn't do an agreed policy and they wouldnt insure it under a classic policy. I'll be phoning around come renewal time!
Pug_Power_Dave 0 Posted July 23, 2010 Ive been looking at Footman James for the insurance on my Lancia, seemed very reasonable, even paying in installments! And they do club memeber discounts to! Cheers Dave
mainline 2 1 Cars Posted July 25, 2010 I would also recommend Need 2 Insure, been with them for a couple of years, got agreed value, breadown cover etc for under £200 on a limited 3000 mile policy as a second car, garaged, Leeds, 6 points and I'm 31. The actual policy is with Haggerty - Need 2 Insure are the broker.
205*31* 0 Posted July 26, 2010 I didn't think 205s were in the classic category? I tried getting afew quotes under classic insurance and they didn't want to know
skyinsurance 2 Posted July 26, 2010 I didn't think 205s were in the classic category? I tried getting afew quotes under classic insurance and they didn't want to know Classic insurance is more about you than the car, eg usually it must be a second car, kept in garage, limited mileage, no or few modifications etc Ollie Sky Insurance
