Mi16 Into 205 Loom Question

Recommended Posts

Pug Monkey

Hi there

I am putting my Mi16 enging into the 205 and at the moment I am sorting through the looms. All is going well with the info I have found for the installation.

What I am trying to find out is - The Mi16 loom has two multi pin plucgs at the end of the loom that terminated under the headlight of the Mi16. Do I leave these in the loom? Do I need them? I have unwound thes and found that some of the gauges terminat here but a little unsure about the rest.

I'd remove the two round plugs and fit the 205's brown plugs in place of them.

that's what threw me, as the Mi16 I did was a 2.0 and had round plugs, the 1.9 must not have round ones then

Ditch all of that (the 1.9 Mi's use plug's like the 205) and use new wires routed the same as the 205 loom, All these link looms etc really are a bodge, You can even buy the corect crimp's that fit the 205 plug's too, The part number I believe is on the site somewhere
