notamondayfan 44 Posted May 26, 2010 Browsing ebay on my lunch and I stumbled across these - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Tuning-GMC-...sQ5fAccessories Do you guys think there is any truth in these? I can understand the principle, but would this device actually make any difference at all? It just seems odd that if it works so well, why don't car manufacturers fit something simular as standard, as the claims this device makes would immediatly make a car more appealing. I'm sceptical wether such a device could actually work, but I know when I ride my 125 suzuki beast, even putting the headlight on will slightly affect the engine at tickover, so I can see how it could work. Ryan 99 Posted May 26, 2010 No, of course they don't work.

Veero 1 Posted May 26, 2010 Hahaha comedy. Description looks like it was was written by a 9 year old. How would "unstable electricity" affect combustion in a diesel, which ignites the fuel/air mixture by compression alone? If anyone is stupid enough to fall for this they deserve to be fleeced. hexhamstu 9 Posted May 26, 2010 Magic booster is made in Japan. It is made with 100% japanese best grade electronic parts (It is designed like a big electronic part). That is science right there. It definitely works.

large 33 Posted May 26, 2010 It’s just a capacitor, as said no.
oz. 2 Posted May 26, 2010 I dare somebody to waste their money on one of these to is what difference it makes. Wouldn't it be great it it actually reduced the engines efficiency.
BERTMAN 40 1 Cars Posted May 26, 2010 $37 for a capacitor!!! plus $9 for postage!! i can see why people would sell this stupid stuff to idiots.. you'd make a mint
djc 0 Posted May 26, 2010 Wow, if only my lawnmower had a battery I would not only cut the lawn quicker but more efficiently too...... ......If I was to cable tie a battery to the handles would I be able to use this alongside the famous electric turbocharger? wracing 19 Posted May 26, 2010 While what's listed is rubbish and the product is pants the principle isn't! I have found in my twin turbo ignition system having a 2200uf electrolytic capacitor across the rails has affected my dwell time and although peak current through the mosfets is increased duty time is reduced, producing almost linear spark energy output across the rev range. This device cost me a whole 93p. James
harryskid 193 Posted May 26, 2010 I have come across a product very much like this for use on boiler fuel lines. They are a load of rubbish, when i found the first one on a boiler i was servicing, i said to the chap who owned the boiler "Who put this crap on the gas supply". He replyed "I did i sell them". I was not asked to service his boiler again but i still think they are crap.
