got a new emerald and i have been kindly emailed a few different maps to try(thanks kate

how do i put one on? its its too technical il pop over and see if dave w will do it for me before i go for a proper mapping session

In simple term's, connect laptop, open file and then upload to ECU = job done, well it works for me

i presume first i install the emerald cd onto the laptop?

if its that simple i should be ok

Yep - that would be a good start!

Make sure you can then connect to the ECU from the laptop.

Then load map.

cool thanks guys. i do have a hardcopy of the manual as my ecu is new but just couldnt find a mention of putting on a pre-existing map. most of the manual is jargon to me tho! lol

It looks intimidating but once you've had a play around it's relatively straightforward.
