Ebay Chip - £68.99

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know the ins and outs of these types of chips.. I know they quote all these figures, and 177NM sounds pretty incredible from a completely standard 1.9 GTi engine.

I've now got a spare ECU thanks to a decent local forum member! So that means if all goes tits up I can still stick the original ECU in.. I just dont want my engine damaged from a chip!

All bulls*it as you'll find over and over again on this forum.

For a start there isn't even a chip to replace...

You'd be better off sticking an oven chip to the windscreen with blue tac.

What I do is unplug the CTS plug and connect it to a CTS that I've had welded to the outside of the car. Reckon I gained a few bhp though the economy aint what it used to be.
