Ticking/rubbing Noise Coming From Osf?

Afternoon People,

 

I discoverd a ticking noise today when driving, the faster I go the quicker it gets and doesn't get any better or worse when I go round corners, it's defiantly coming from outside the car and is really suprisingly loud. The noise remains if the car is in gear or freewheeling.

 

Could it be something to do with the speedo cable, I replaced mine a couple of months ago?

 

Any sugestions or help tracking down the damn noise will be very much appreciated as it's driving me barmy.

Haha, I will rip myself if it turns out to be a stone.

 

I hadn't thought to look if it was a stone, just checked too see if it's anything rubbing.

 

I will look and report back.
