Xu10 Sump Gasket

when i rebuilt my engine i used blue gasket sealant on my sump, now either i didnt do it properly or the sealant is pooh but its leaking, not alot but enough.

 

do pug do an actual gasket for the sump? if so does anyone have a part number for it?

 

i would rather use a gasket if possible to avoid problems later.

The XU10J4 engine doesn't use a sump gasket, not sure if ny of the other XU10 engines do though.

they do if they have a steel sump, they are the same for all XU eng9ines, GSF do them pretty cheaply, as I'd imagine most motorfactors would.

 

if they're an alloy sump then goo it is, no gasket
