1.6gti And Mi16 Flywheel

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have photos of a 1.6 gti flywheel and a mi16 flywheel?

I really need to seem them as i´m struggling to have my car running how it should with a Megasquirt ECU and a trigger wheel, so i think i´ll go with the method of changing the flywheel. But i would like to see the differences between them before.

Thanks for the help

The standard 1.6 & 1.9 GTI Jetronic flywheel doesn't have the timing teeth ring as in the Mi16 picture above otherwise looks pretty much the same just uses a 200mm clutch instead of a 215mm one.

Thank you all for the help. I got a new sensor for the trigger wheel and it is working better, it seems that the newer it is the better it works, so i´ll try go get an even newer one and see how it goes.

Miles if this doesn´t work out, that might be an option, because i would rather change a pulley than a flywheel. I´ll get back to you if this doesn´t work.

Thanks for the help
