Hey iv got paint my scaby old xs steels, and im wondering what colour to do them. I thought silver to start with but now im leaning towards a black or charcole. Any ideas anyone or maybe even pictures. thanks

All depends on the colour of your car. Personally, if your XS is white, I'd be tempted with charcoal. If it's red/grey/black or blue, I'd just stick with the regular silver.

Here's my old white xs with black steelies, I always thought it looked better than the standard silver!

I had a set of silver XS wheels on mine, they looked good, but I thought I'd throw another set of wheels into the equation!

I've only recently changed them to a beefier ET20 offset running 185 60 13 tyres for road rallying, they should work well with 205 1.6 GTi callipers and vented disks!

im thinking white, might go out and try a wheel today, do they need to go down to the bare metal to be repainted or just a nice sanding??? I was thinking of using nitromores to really strip them down but can see this may be an error? thanks for response guys.
