quagmire 0 Posted March 12, 2010 Got sick to death of my Denji driving lights going rusty so I managed to find some original Siem ones. They cost a little more but are well worth it. I also bought a set of these, also expensive but look the nuts.

pee vee 1 Posted March 13, 2010 (edited) Very nice! good to see the details being done I wanted my car looking a bit more fresh too, so an order to auto five, and some time last weekend, and my car now has all new black plastics and red stripe round the car, all new trim clips, the lot and wash and polish under all the kit too. (and a hole in the wallet ! ) Edited March 13, 2010 by pee vee
quagmire 0 Posted March 13, 2010 (edited) They don't wear very well though! Mine only saw a few months of use before they were wrecked... The car doesn't get used daily and I'm going to scotch guard them so should be ok for some time. (and a hole in the wallet ! ) I only used Autofive for the mats as its the only place that sell them. Their stuff is VASTLY overpriced even compared to the main dealers. I can get the bumpers and all the trim plus red inserts from my local motorfactors/panel specialist for a fraction of what Autofive charge. I'm quite particular with my car though, maybe that's helped? Might be down to the fact that you looked after them then! I found mine in the spares set I got with my old XS, so I chucked them in the GTI primarily to stop me scratching the floor with my shoes (I've got no carpets). If I knew the value of replacing them I'd have looked after them a tad better! But they do look awesome .
pugit666 2 Posted March 17, 2010 I had these mats in my first 205. They were about 50 notes back then but I would definately buy another set, if I had a red carpet.Top quality and aslong as you hoover them enough, they'll last years
