petert 554 Posted March 11, 2010 Are these prices typical of 2nd hand Mi16 parts prices in the UK? I take it they're in GBP? eg. 70GBP for one conrod? or 50 for a #3 pulley? http://www.hiflowheads.co.uk/performance/mi16.pdf
welshpug 1,626 Posted March 11, 2010 Crikey! err, in my experience definitely not some of those prices are quite unbelievable
Paul_13 212 1 Cars Posted March 11, 2010 Really wouldn't go with that company... My mate had a engine from them that blew up 50 miles down the road. It will probably be dturbo parts in disguise
GilesW 41 Posted March 11, 2010 It's a company. It has overheads. It has to pay somone to take it aprt, inspect, clean etc, so IMHO those prices are not completly stupid when you factor all that in. But.... if you're asking if that is what you should pay for those type of parts - then obviously no. You would be far better getting the parts privately second hand. Miles 331 1 Cars Posted March 11, 2010 Thats allot and I run as most of you know a couple of companies and knowing the costs of various locations in the UK thats a cheaper area to work from. I would tend to say £25.00 per rod is around right and £5.00 for the pulley I know I;ve scraped allot of items like that as it's not worth storing them
