RHULPUG 0 Posted March 9, 2010 I'm planning on relocating the washer bottle and battery on my 205. I'm aware there's nothing new in this idea, however, I'm after some pictures of where people have re-located theirs to. On a bracket next between the batter and coolant bottle. In the scuttle panel? Or, as I saw in a recent ebay advert, in the boot, along with the washer jet motor.
Rock Lobster 28 Posted March 9, 2010 I've seen a very neat job by someone on here, they bought a cheap bottle from ebay I think and mounted it on the bulkhead next to the coolant bottle. Just can't remember who!
RHULPUG 0 Posted March 9, 2010 Hopefully someone will have some pics!
Paul_13 212 1 Cars Posted March 9, 2010 Plenty of threads on this, just had a search and at least 3-4 results came up. Can't find my old blue peter effort
Rock Lobster 28 Posted March 9, 2010 Have a look at Roms restoration thread, there should be an image on there of his effort mate. Looks very tidy to me!
nick 3 Posted March 9, 2010 Crap picture, but you get the idea... This is off a mark 1 Micra, it just self tappers into the bulk head. I just extended the wiring and shortened the pipes. Have a wander around a scrappers and you will find something suitable. Nick

pugpete1108 62 1 Cars Posted March 9, 2010 Mine went under the scuttle panel, very nice place for it. i have considered this for mine but then thought of how much of a pain in the arse it would be to fill it up. battery tray might be an idea in my case as there is no battery in there. just need a suitable bottle . RHULPUG 0 Posted March 10, 2010 Will under the scuttle panel only work on a non-sunroof where there isn't a vacuum system in place?
kate205gti 4 Posted March 10, 2010 mines got a sunroof and washer bottle in the scuttle panel, but its an after market sunroof so might be different snip a square hole in the grid on the scuttle panel to pop the lid of the washer bottle through for easy access
Vili 17 Posted March 11, 2010 I suppose you don't have the headlight washers installed as original? I removed the headlight washers from the front bumber and used their bottle and pump for windshield washer. The bottle is located very neatly inside the front wing.
