Bx16v Dumped In Sussex, Just Outside Of Henfield!

Recommended Posts

maxi

Yesterday I came across a grey 16v BX dumped at the side of the road between Henfield and Cowfold in Sussex. Now, Im not a thief but, I found myself returning in the warrior under the cover of darkness with my best mate and a rope :P only to find the bloody thing had gone! (probably a blessing in disguise as I would of taken it!)

Anybody off here know anything about it? Made me realise how cool they are compared to a s*itty 405 too.

Christ! If I break down in my 205, I'll be sure to put a sign in the window that it's not abandoned!

I used to take the ex for a hump in many a quiet rural pull in in the early hours as we didn't have any other place at the time (as is the way when you're younger) and I often worried about someone trying to tow the car off when I was on my vinegar stroke.

Did get 'stopped', as much as the phrase can go, by the police when I was bolloko and in action. Quite funny looking back....

This is what I think happened- long story short, An old man and his ill wife were on their way to the hospital when the car ran out of petrol, they had to walk the rest of the way in the pooring rain, the hospital decided to keep the old lady in over night and the old man had to walk all the way home with his feet covered in blisters and then you tried NICKING THEIR CAR! ^_^

But it's worse than that.

Adam didn't even really want the car, just the engine, ECU and loom and f*ck the rest off in a ditch.

Imagine the poor old geyser's surprise finding it then! ^_^

^_^ I can Imagine it...

Old geezer can't start the car and rings his breakdown cover straight way, AA man arrives and the rest is like the old comedy sketch where the car pulls up into the 'gas' station and the attendent opens the bonnet to check the oil and discovers theres no engine in there

Haha You're welcome to them then. Nobody in their right mind can ever say a BX looks better than a 405.

Shame it was gone really as the engine would've ended up In a

Edit: actually are you sure dan hasn't been down with the

same idea and beaten you to it?

Love all the smiley faces, would have been different if the thread title had been. "Broke down last night, went to pick it up this morning and some f***er had stolen it!"

I liked the one's on the 306 forum where they reported the cars stolen and they'd either forgotten where they left them or they were 'next door' !

There's been more than one instance on there - one that springs to mind is when someone didn't put the handbrake on and their car rolled across the road into a neighbours garden, and the idiot reported the car stolen before later wondering why his neighbours had a car just like his, parked really badly... <_<

I personally think the 405 is better looking (road going wise).
