not to bad really, just wanted 309 suspension setup for the 205, this was only 300quid as a complete car

I did the same about 10 years ago, I had a grey 309 gti and I stripped it for bits to use on my 205, didn't really care about it until recently, now I regret it every day

Is it just me - whenever I see a stripped-down 205/309 like that one it really reminds me of the pre-205 Peugeots with slanted-in (like the 305/504), making me think - was it possible the change to the slanted-out look of the 205 one of the decisions that came late to the design?

These were both mine, and both left my possession with working Mi16 engines in. Where are they now I wonder......

 

Red one was 4x4, white one 2wd. I kept the white one much longer as it was by far the quicker car.
