205 Xs Gearbox

hey, has anyone got the code for the 205 xs gearbox, also anymore info on it would be great

but between the xs box on my xs

and the 1.4 xsi box in my saxo vtr the revs sit at the same to do the same rpm

 

doing 70 i sit allmost bang on 4k in both cars

so im betting its basically the same box

and the xs/xsi (both 1400 one not having injection) thing kinda backs that up too tbh

Remove oil drain plug, you can then see the crown wheel teeth just inside. Put a blob of tipp-ex or use a marker pen to mark one of the teeth, put in gear and turn. Count the teeth as you turn till your back to the start. You need 60 crown wheel teeth for an XS box, a base model I counted had 63.

right ive got the sticker from the box and its 2CA08, can anyone comfirm this is a Xs box?
