Air Flow Meter Base Setting

Myself and a friend of mine could not get the gas analyser to work in his garage tonight, so until next Saturday where we have access to a works gas bench, can anyone provide a base setting for the AFM as in topic description, (1990 1.6). Haynes manual does not specify a base setting. I also appreciate that they vary from car to car slightly but any help would be much appreciated.
