1.9 Air Flow Meter Or Substitute To Get Her Running?

i need to get an air flow meter for my 1.9 gti.does anyone know if i can use one off a diferent model of peugeot or does anyone have one that they would like to sell? ideally it has to be second hand as i do want to put carbs on it i just wanna hear it run before i spend money on things like that just to asure myself.

I've used a 1.6 one before for diagnosis purposes. I have to admit i've no idea what the diference is between the 1.6 and the 1.9 ones.

Any 1.6 or 1.9 AFM will do as an short term solution if it's Jetronic car .. if it's Motronic then you'll have a bit limited choice ..

 

It's calibration which is different in between the 1.6 and 1.9 AFM's ..
