24seven 104 Posted November 7, 2009 Other than the 6 pin blue relay in the fusebox, Haynes says there's another relay somewhere for the front wipers. Anyone know where it is/should be? My wipers have packed in (typical, as soon as the engine's sorted the weather goes crap and the wipers don't work!) and the 6 pin relay clicks rapidly when the stalk is switched from fast/slow/pause wipe. jord294 87 Posted November 7, 2009 only 2 days ago the intermittant part of the wipers on my car stopped working. i changed the stalk as it was stiff anyway, and also re-lubed the spindles. but the actual fault was the blue relay. is the so called other relay not used for the rear wiper ? cybernck 400 1 Cars Posted November 8, 2009 The rear wiper relay is in the tailgate, unless there's another one for some reason.
24seven 104 Posted November 8, 2009 (edited) Though I'm still confused by the Haynes wiring diagram, I've since discovered the problem was the recently replaced wiper motor had leaked water and completely seized. Stripped and rebuilt it and it's as good as new . Edited November 8, 2009 by 24seven
