Whats this for as it catches the seat when in the down position, will it matter if I grind some of it down to clear the seats?

If in doubt, get the grinder out :)

I heard that on here somewhere and its been my garage motto ever since! ...I don't know what that is by the way, sorry :( but i'd probably grind it back if it was me!

Could use another pic showing where it is on the seat - of course I may just be being dim !

Sorry about the pictures, it's on the seat rail on one side about half way of it's length and rotates in relation to the seat when it is lifted to gain access into the back (top picture is upside down)

ps it's 309 seats on 205 subframe with plates added to accomodate the extra width of the seats and I've swapped the drivers seat to the passenger subframe and visa versa, oh and the plates are on the inside to bring the seats nearer the handbrake and keep the same distance to the door pockets.
