I have found the end of a wire under the dash of my car labled up as water temp , the coolant temp guage on the instrument panel is working , I am running emerald management should the emerald have a collant temp sensor ? if so are there two Ie one for the guage on the dash and 1 for the emerald ? if it is for the emerald what effect might it be having ?

Thanks

If its for the ECU it tells the ECU what the temp of the coolant is so the ECU can alter the fueling when the cars cold, bit like a choke on an old carb car :)

I don't know with Emerald

But with standard ECU I'm pretty sure it would cause the car to over fuel, run on cold start permanently B)
