What's The Difference Between Early And Late Headlights

Recommended Posts

dino20vt

Bought a genuine HeAdlight off eBay and the bulb won't fit, I remember calling Peugeot and them asking for the VIN, I didn't have it but they said they needed it as there were 2 listed for the 205. What bulb should fit this headlight?

Only one type I;ve seen and they have gone from 1984 > 1994 and all have been the 3 prong type, Only the micky mouse pattern ones use the round fitting, Can't recall the H number now

H4 bulbs used on all of them, the only differences I know of is that early metal reflector headlamps didn't have the full reflector of the later plastic units.
