Rev Counter Help

Recommended Posts

ORB

I am just completing the R1 carbs and MJ install and obviously I have to lose my Rev Counter.

I have seen many different Ideas on how to sort it but I am a moron when it comes to wiring, so, I ask is there an idiots guide?

Do the thingies that trigger wheels sell do any good and if so, how do you wire it in?

Basicly, I am looking for someone to tell me in idiots terms what will work and how to do it!!

Thanks

ther is quite a few different ways of doing this as i have looked into it myself.

but as of yet i have not got round to sorting this out (car not road legal or mot'd yet).

there are a couple of guys who have done this with either modding the speedo or using some sort of resistors in line from the coil pack.

either way i dont really think there is an idiots guide as it seems quite involved?? may just be me.
