Bolt/nut Sizes

Recommended Posts

I can't seem to find any info on bolt/nut sizes, need to get some new ones and don't want to be faffing around with pug again. Servicebox just shows the part numbers, not actual sizes. Does anyone know the standard sizes for any of the following so I can just nip up the fasteners place and get some?

  • Nut and Bolt that clamps hub carrier around front strut (had to cut it out earlier!)
  • Nylock nuts at top of front strut (the three small ones that hold it to the shell and the big one at the top of the shock)
  • Nuts and bolts at each end of the rear shocks?

Also I assume new drop links will come with the nuts needed, if not any idea what size the nuts for them are?

Cheers in advance,

Neil

It does tell you the bolt sizes on servicebox...to the right just under the description

The big bolt the holds the hub to the strut is 10X1,50-65

The droplinks will come with locking nuts.

I'm struggling to find some others, I'll be back

Upper rear damper bolt SUP DIAM 12X125-65 nut 12X125

Lower rear damper bolt INF DIAM 14X150-118 nut 14X150-16

Front top bolts 7X100-8,5-11

and the big bolt for the strut is 14X150-7-19

I've just copied and pasted the Servicebox sizes. HTH

The 3 nylocs for the top mount are M7's so you might be a bit hard pushed to buy them from somewhere, maybe drop Miles a pm, might put some in the post for you.

The damper bolt on the top of the Top mount varies with different make of dampers, but standards are M14 I believe.

The rears I dunno.

All immaterial in the end as the fasteners shop didn't do half of them due to them being 'automotive sizes' so I had to get them off pug. One heart attack later from the price and delivery time all are ordered. How they justify their prices for nuts and bolts I don't know.
