I need to find a decent switched live to use for my fuel pump and my Megajolt.

Can you reccoment a decent one within the cabin, one that is easy to get to?

Thanks

Sounds obvious but why not the original one that went to the brown multiplug from the tachy relay to the fuel pump?

i had the same trouble when installing my ms, as the wiring in my pug is so shot i was unable to identify what was a good live to switch my relays with(maybe laziness more than anything) so i just wired up a toggle switch direct from the battery, but this is not a long term solution for me, just until i get it all running correctly

Just read this again & I was on the wrong line, you need a switched feed to go to the fuel pump where the one from the tachy relay takes power to the pump via the fuse box when switched by the ignition etc & the main relay feed is directly from the shunt box. :D

You can splice into the original wire to the coil though as that fed both the coil & ignition amp so it will be a big enough guage wire imo or use the wire 32a as a switching wire via a relay which is connected to the shunt box. This is how it works on the M4.1, M1.3, MP3.1 & jetronic looms.
