Poly Bush Fitting

Recommended Posts

Right, well I've managed to get the small poly wishbone bush in, but I can't squish the big one enough to get it to fit.

Any ideas?

Stick them in hot water to make them a little more pliable and then add plenty of copper/lithium grease to help them in.

Just checking (because I did it :D ), have you removed the outer metal sleeve from the original bush? If not, it makes it just that little bit too small to get the new bush in, no matter what you use!

my powerflex ones were a biatch to fit. i managed to get it in with a combination of copperslip and a crow bar to ease it into the subframe.

Genius! Worked a treat; the copper grease also helped them into the subframe
