Andy M1tchell 0 Posted July 11, 2009 Hi I have heard of people fitting Audi A3 seats into there 205 is this an easy job or not ? I suppose the front seats will need modidications such as welding to the sub frames which wont be very safe as it snaps! just a thought ! anybody on here already done it? Thanx
Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted July 13, 2009 There was one on ebay recently that had this done. The rears didn't seem to fit that well though. It is always easy to make things fit, just ensure they are solid in an accident
pug_ham 241 3 Cars Posted July 15, 2009 I wouldn't bother, they'll probably weigh more than your car. A mate fitted some S3 seats into his Mk2 Golf VR6 & he said they weighed a tonne. He isn't small but said he had trouble lifting them. Graham.
Jon_Bmw 13 Posted July 16, 2009 Plus a3 leather hasn't got great bolster support. You'll be in the passenger seat, or on the gearknob in seconds come the first right hander.
