mogsman 2 Posted July 7, 2009 Hi all, I'm finally getting around to fitting my passenger side electric window. I've done all the searches but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not gettting power from the connector in W on the fuse box where 92 and 92A are. The pin these are in is No.1 and I have wire 10C in No.3 which is for the rad/cas. I looked for a 5pin connector above and to the right of the fusebox but couldn't find one. I'm guessing that this is what I need? The car is a 91 1.6 Hreg. I did not have the looms in the doors, but I have the passenger door loom and mechanism. The relay is there also. I'm a bit stumped now. I did find an unconnected three pin blue connector underneath the steering column which I think is for the clocks. Ian
mogsman 2 Posted July 7, 2009 Would it matter if I haven't put in the drivers side or would I need to have both sides in to make a circuit? Ian
welshpug 1,627 Posted July 7, 2009 you will need the drivers side switch for the passenger window to be connected for it to work usually.
mogsman 2 Posted July 7, 2009 In that case I'm on the lookout for a drivers side loom, mech and switches. Ian
timb1046 1 Posted July 12, 2009 backing up what welshpug has said the drivers side will need to be coneted to have the passengerside working, OR as i have done just link out one of the sides and just have one switch. thats what i have done as there is lack of room after cage fitting for switches so to keep it simple i just have them both on my side.
