Front Head Rests

morning

 

bit of a silly question but how do you rase the readrests up? mine seem to be fixed as low as possable.

ive tryed lifting them up but they dont want to move and im sure the leather is starting to come away from the stiching from all the pulling.

any help?

There usually pretty stiff and only have one setting i think, down !

 

There not like a modern car were they click up and down, give them a good pull up (difficult in the car) and they may stay in a position you want.

There's 3-4 different heights, but you need to pull them with that much force that you usually end up with just the highest and lowest.

got it now thanks, needed to use alot for force to lift them up.

there only seems to be the highest and lowest setting but i can live with that

They will pull all the way out....there's nothing to stop them so you won't break anything....from recollection, you'll see there are 3 notches in each pillar. Once out you could put some wax polish on the pillars, or other suitable lubricant, which will make adjustment easier.
