Zx Trailing Arms

Recommended Posts

powermandan

Hi,

Im limbering up to rebuilding my rear beam in preperation for turning the car into a track day tool, one the trailing arms is unfortunatly bent.

Ive had a ring round the scrappys and my local has 2 Zx's being broken and will sell me the entire beam for £70

- Will base model zx trailing arms (drum brakes) accept my disk brakes?

- Are the zx arms going to be advantagous for track use over 309 gti arms

Slightly off topic, would S16 Front struts be an upgrade over the stock 1.9 Gti struts?

Thanks

Dan

Just change the stub axles to convert to discs.

ZX arms have no toe-in and more camber.

Do you think its a worth while mod? or should i hunt around for a spare 309 trailing arm?

I know a lot of these things are down to preference but peoples opinions are more than welcome?

better to use them as a pair as the specifications varied, I like how my ZX handles, so I'd give it a go.
