EdCherry 34 1 Cars Posted May 23, 2009 This ugly and most likely very inaccurate (if its anything like the R21's dash) dash? Save your time and money mate.

jonnygoodhand 0 Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) The MG ones were awesome! they used to do talking diagnostics If by diagnostics, you mean telling you your 'handrake is on' whilst driving down the motorway and reminding you to 'please fasten your seatbelt' everytime you opened the door, then yes! They were great. To be honest, I thought it was the best thing ever when I was 8. Edited May 23, 2009 by jonnygoodhand

Hilgie 16 2 Cars Posted May 27, 2009 There's the BX Digit dash which is a sort of straight fit into the 205s instrument cluster housing. Only some wiring to be sorted I think.

mattbenselin 0 Posted May 27, 2009 I wonder what the limits on the gauges are? You can see the rpm gauge only goes to 6k rpm which is not ideal for a GTI or anything with higher max. rpm.
James_R 3 Posted May 27, 2009 There's 2 Astra digi dash's and the later item (for 16v cars) has a higher rev gauge they're actually pretty acurate provided the input is right. If you go on migweb and pm Dom, he made frequency convertors so you can tune in the speedo to be bang on. can't comment on the fuel, coolant temp and oil pressure though Or you can get an Acewell, which is pretty simple, you just swap the speedo drive for a VSS from any late 306/406, Xantia etc.... and off you go, you divide the wheel circumfrance by half the number of teeth on the worm drive ( the VSS only seems to pulse every other rotation) They look ok too.
